Ascua Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
In short: Ascua doesn't collect, store on a server, or share any of your data. Your photos and videos are processed and kept on your iPhone. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking.
This policy explains how Ascua, a selective-color camera app made by O3 Interfaces ("we", "us"), handles your information.
Information we collect
None. Ascua has no servers, and the app doesn't send your photos, videos, or any other personal information to us or to anyone else.
Camera
Ascua uses your camera to show the live, color-isolated preview and to take the photos and videos you choose to capture. The camera feed is processed on your device in real time and is never uploaded.
Microphone
Ascua uses the microphone only in Video mode, to record sound with your videos. It isn't used in Photo mode or at any other time, and the audio stays in your recordings on your device.
Photos library
Ascua asks for permission to add new photos and videos to your library. It can only add your captures; it can't see, read, or change anything already in your library.
Your captures
Photos and videos you take are also kept inside the app on your iPhone, so you can view them in Ascua's gallery. They're removed if you delete them in the app or uninstall Ascua. They may be included in your device backups, such as iCloud Backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
Purchases
Ascua Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple Account, or payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether Ascua Pro is unlocked, and remembers that on your device.
Analytics, ads, and tracking
Ascua contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and doesn't track you across other apps or websites. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous App Store statistics, such as download counts and crash reports from people who chose to share them with developers, under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Ratings and sharing
If you choose to rate Ascua or invite a friend, the system's review prompt, the App Store, or the iOS share sheet handles it. Ascua doesn't receive what you write or who you share with.
Contacting us
If you email us, we'll use your email address and message only to reply to you, and won't share them with anyone.
Children
Ascua doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your choices
You can allow or deny access to the camera, microphone, and Photos at any time in the Settings app under Ascua. Without camera access the app can't work. Without microphone access, videos record without sound.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
